Raipur | Correspondent: Chhattisgarh government has imposed a ban on medical and dental students for practicing medicine or working with any Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO).
Previously, Postgraduate students studying in government colleges used to practice for private hospitals while studying while some also volunteered with NGOs for social service.
However, such practices would no longer be continued.
According to Chhattisgarh Postgraduate Medical Admission rules and Brochure 2021 by Medical Education Raipur, this has been banned.
The Deans and Dental college principals have been instructed to assure that postgraduate students follow the rules strictly.
Furthermore, all students are required to submit an affidavit confirming they will not participate in unauthorized private practice, services, or jobs during their course of study.
